In late September 2021 a research project called ‘Hearing Their Voices’ was launched by the Mawita’mk Society and the Wabanaki Council on Disability intended to be the first ever regional scope research project focused on matters of disability and accessibility for Wabanaki Persons with Disability.This report is a compilation of various sources of information and results included in the scope of work for the “Hearing Their Voices” project conducted over the time period inclusive of October 2021 to March 2024.
